Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz breakfast sausage
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- In a bowl, mix cooked sausage with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each croissant, starting from the wide end, enclosing the filling.
- Place on the prepared baking sheet and brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
