- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels and season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until very hot.
- Add steak bites in a single layer without overcrowding the pan.
- Sear for 2–3 minutes without moving to create a golden crust.
- Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until browned and cooked to your preference.
- Lower heat to medium and add butter, garlic, and herbs.
- Toss steak bites in the garlic butter for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and coated.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a heavy skillet (like cast iron) for the best sear.
- Cook in batches if needed to avoid steaming the meat.
- Let steak rest briefly before serving for maximum juiciness.
- Add a splash of lemon juice for a fresh finish.
- Pairs well with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
