Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritter bites.
- Serve warm.
